Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the SEBO Felix good for pet hair?
A: Yes. The Felix comes with SEBO's ET-1 electric power head, which is specifically designed to pull embedded pet hair out of carpet. It's one of the most recommended vacuums for pet owners by independent vacuum shops.

Q: Does the SEBO Felix work on hard floors and carpet?
A: Yes. The Felix Premium includes both the ET-1 power head for carpet and a parquet brush for hard floors, so you can switch between surfaces. The brush roller can also be turned off for delicate rugs.

Q: How long does a SEBO Felix last?
A: SEBO vacuums are built in Germany to commercial standards and routinely last 15-20 years with basic maintenance. Ballwin Vacuum Center is an authorized SEBO dealer, so your Felix qualifies for SEBO's extended warranty: 10 years on the motor, 10 years on non-wear parts, and 7 years on labor when you register with SEBO.

Q: Is the SEBO Felix bagged or bagless?
A: Bagged. It uses 3.5-liter AeraPure filter bags that trap 99% of particles down to 0.3 microns, so dust stays in the bag and out of the air you breathe. Bags are inexpensive and available from Ballwin Vacuum.

Q: How heavy is the SEBO Felix?
A: About 15 pounds. The handle adjusts and the machine lays flat to clean under furniture.

Q: What's the difference between the SEBO Felix and the SEBO Dart?
A: Both use the same ET-1 power head and clean identically. The Felix adds a parquet floor brush, a longer cord, and more onboard tools, making it the better all-around home vacuum. The Dart is the streamlined, commercial-duty version at a lower price.
